When chefs Claire Thomson and Matt Williamson of Bristol restaurant Flinty Red agreed to come on to BKR to talk about cooking with bread, we didn’t realise they were going to cook us a three course meal with options for each course.
And while they cooked, they donned our aprons, rifled through our drawers and told us how easy it is to create delicious alternatives to marmite on toast. They chatted about what they do with bread in their restaurant, where they source their ingredients, and how one loaf of bread can last an Italian family a week.
